My post is on Natural Childbirth in the Hospital, which is something that I am passionate about and excited to share with others! Head on over to Keeper of the Home to read it!

2nd Trimester
I am now 16 (almost 17) weeks along in this pregnancy and in full swing of the second trimester. I LOVE the 2nd trimester of being pregnant. I am feeling completely like myself again, I have my energy back, and except for my slightly bulging belly, I really don't feel pregnant at all. The last few days have been great - I almost feel like I'm already getting in the nesting mode (which I never really felt when I was preggo with K), I am a busy little bee getting stuff done around the house.
My problem is that I literally lose my mind when I'm pregnant. Almost all memory and rational thought goes out the window. I can't remember what I was doing 5 minutes ago, or what I meant to do in the next 5 minutes, so I get side tracked really easily and always seem to have a bunch of half-done projects or chores. Also, I can't remember words that I want to say. I work so hard trying to remember the word that I am thinking of and my mind is completely blank.
So, here's a really funny story - Yesterday K was walking around with her birthday "The Big 1!" hat on her head. It was down over her eyes so she really couldn't see where she was going. Jer and I both say, "She is going to run right into something." And just as we finish saying that she runs straight into the kitchen cabinets, so hard, and falls straight back onto her back. She was bawling, and we were trying, without succeeding, not to laugh. It was really funny, but we are terrible parents because we totally just sat there and watched her do it. Anyway, I was consoling her and said to Jer, "Well, at least she's - what's the word - buff?" He looks at me and says, "Buff?" I said, "I can't remember the word." He goes, "Tough?" I started laughing, again. Yes, I honestly could not remember the word tough and thought it was buff. What is wrong with me!?! Has this happened to anyone else when you were pregnant?
